Dr. Alveda C. King
Dr. Alveda King is an American politician, author, and activist. She is a niece of the civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr. and daughter of the late slain civil rights activist Rev. A. D. King and his wife Naomi Barber King. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution, a Washington, D.C. think-tank She is a former member of the Georgia House of Representatives and the founder of King for America.
