Most sensitive Americans do not want to see others discriminated against, this is particularly true with African Americans. That’s why African Americans are quick to support issues pertaining to women’s rights, immigration reform, and rights for senior citizens and gays.

But when you look at many of the recent movements of Civil Rights for various groups, you will discover that many involved in these new Civil Rights movements (including the media) are not as committed to Civil Rights for blacks as they are distracting the general public from the unfinished work of Civil Rights for African Americans. When you look at the conditions in the African American community i.e. crime, break up of black families, school drop-out rate, disparities in salaries, unemployment and the deterioration of black businesses in the black community, you will have to conclude that blacks are worse off now than they were 50 years ago. But you will never see those supporting gay rights or immigration reform acknowledge this or launching public protests to address these conditions. Let's just take a look at some of the recent things that happen in the black community that the media and the supporters of gay rights have ignored. 1. Obama was the first president to reduce funding for Historically Black Colleges ( a year later he reversed his decision only after black leaders protested). When Obama's decision to reduce funding for the black colleges was made known, the gay community and the media ignored his decision. (Source: Black Agenda Report May 13, 2009). None of the major media organizations including CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, CBS nor ABC, New York Times or the Los Angeles Times covered this story. NPR and the Chicago Sun Times were the only ones that reported on this. 2. When Obama reduced the court award for Black Farmers from $2.7 billion to $1.2 billion there were no protests from the gay community or coverage by major news organizations even though the black farmers held a demonstration in Washington D.C. on Thursday February 18, 2010. The black farmers stood alone. (Source: National Black Farmers Association and the African American Environmentalist Association). 3. When Black Broadcasters were denied Stimulus money to survive, only the Huffington Post covered the story on July 13, 2009. Those who supported Gay Rights and so called Civil Rights were silent, as were the main stream media. 4. When it was revealed through Congressman Jessie Jackson Jr. and other congressmen that blacks will not benefit from the Stimulus Money, there was no protests from the gay community or the main stream media. This was reported by the Black Press/USA Network on March 2, 2010 and the Chicago Defender newspaper. 5. Before the Trayvon Martin killing, blacks in Chicago pleaded with President Obama to come to Chicago to address the record number of killings of black teens in Chicago. When Obama refused to go, there were no protest from the gay community and no coverage by major news organizations. (Source: Grio Website October 4, 2009). 6. When the unemployment for the general population went from 9% to 8.3% , and black unemployment increased to 14%, there were no protest from the gay community or those supporting gay rights, nor was it covered by major news organizations (Source: Department of Labor and Statistics). 7. This year when it was revealed that blacks make up 17% of the school population, but make up 42% of those attending low performing schools, there were no protests from the gay community or those supporting gay rights. (Source: NAACP and supported by the documentary "Waiting For Superman') 8. When a record number of black congressmen were being investigated for Ethics Violations by the House Ethics Committee and the Congressional Black Caucus complained that "not a single white lawmaker is currently the subject of a full-scale ethic committee probe," there were no protest from the gay community or those supporting gay rights, nor was there coverage by major news organizations.(Source: Congressional Black Caucus). 9. When it was reported by all news sources that the foreclosure of homes affected African Americans more than any other group, there were no protests from the gay community or those supporting gay rights. 10. The United States Supreme Court has another Affirmative Action case on the docket for this session. This case that will affect black enrollment in our colleges, but there are no protests from the gay community or those supporting gays. The alleged discrimination took place in a state (Texas) that provides funding for illegal aliens. The deplorable conditions in the black community are well-known, but consistently ignored by the gay community and those supporting gay rights. The gay community and those supporting gay rights know that major corporations will promote music that encourage sex and the degrading of black women and they know that the government will respond by giving millions to the young black girls who are victims of this type of behavior to have abortions, but that same government will not give money to build up the black community or to address many of the issues affecting the black community. The government's top priority is to help gays, not to provide Civil Rights for African Americans. The Civil Rights of blacks are not only a low priority, they are ignored all together. Unfortunately most blacks are unaware of this fact. Many of the conditions in the black community are self-inflicted and have nothing to do with racism, but for those issues that are tied to discrimination, the supporters of gay rights have turned a deaf ear to the faint cries of a dying race of people.

We American’s need to get this Administration (Obama and his Cronies) out of office. American’s of every color and God based denomination need to take our Country back and make it better FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE. When I watched Obama campaign in 2008, I did not see a black man talking – I saw a dictator in training, the likes of Hitler, Stalin and all the dictators in the World. Those who voted for him made a terrible mistake – one I pray can be undone. The homosexuals in this Country has been given free reign by this President and they are running with it. Just think, about the job you or I might be applying for and if there is a third person applying who is gay, lesbian, transgender or whatever, who do you think will get that job????? I’m am fed with this issue – I don’t care who they choose to sleep with – stay out of my childrens schools, keep to their real bathrooms(boys for boys, girls for girls) And stay out of the true reason for sex and marriage. Marriage is between one man and one women, period, it is non-negotiable
