Jovan, Jason and Jumping to Conclusions

Jason Whitlock started it, and Jason Whitlock can end it.

On December 1, the Fox Sports columnist penned a column about what happened earlier that morning when Jovan Belcher — the starting linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs — murdered his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins (the mother of his three-month-old daughter), and then drove to Arrowhead Stadium and killed himself.

Mr. Greens’ comments about Mr. Whitlock are on the money. I can’t understand though why black and some white leaders or speakers constantly use race as a means to an end. From the civil war on many thousands of white people have tried to change our society so that all people are respected and appreciated for who they are and not what they are. The people in this country that try to control others thought process by using race to influence it create conflict where where none is needed. I realize there are some people who hate no mater what and I’m hoping in time the haters will literally die out.

I implore all the people of this United States of America to teach your children not to hate. Teach them that they can be the difference that leads to a lasting peace and love among us all. It’s not corny to say we are all children of God. Lastly, The original point of the story is people taking personal responsibility for their actions. We have a right to defend ourselves and to own guns.Governments around the world have proved they cannot be trusted and to give up our ability to confront military might would be detrimental to us all. And,it would leave those who do not care about the law with all the weapons.
