On August 29--31, 2013 Freedom’s Journal Institute will hold its first Black Conservative Summit (BCS) at the Pheasant Run resort in St Charles, IL. The theme for this year’s gathering is “Defending the Natural Family: R.I.S.E to Rebuild the Foundation of Black America.” The summit will focus on a number of critical issues ranging from education to economic policy, in general, within the context of the “Natural Family”.

The Awakening 2013 will be an in-depth Prayer and Patriotism event where people are united by love for our country’s freedom and our faith in Christ. We hope to educate, motivate, and activate you to make a difference in your community in 2013. As our nation’s honor is deteriorating, now is the time to take a stand and restore our country’s strength and dignity!

The ACU has hosted CPAC since 1973, and it now stands as the largest annual gathering of conservatives in the nation. For CPAC Colorado, ACU is looking forward to bringing national and regional leaders together with local grassroots activists for a day of blockbuster speeches, policy discussions and networking opportunities — all celebrating the shared principles of smaller government, a strong national defense and traditional values.

The Values Voter Summit is an annual political conference for social conservative activists and elected officials from across the United States.   Hosted by the Family Research Council, Values Voter Summit aggregates conservative organizations who sponsor and/or participate in the conference. The Summit generally draws around 3,000 attendees from across the country.
